In a field at the west side of this hill stone graves have been met with and it is said that an old KirK an Burying ground Stood in former years tho [though] no trace can be seen of it now on the ground. this field has been under cultivation during the memory of the oldest inhabitants. it is about 5½ Chains North of Stone Ford |
