036 | [Situation] About 5/8 mile WSW [West South West] of Drummore. A ford Crossing a Stream called Kildonan burn. It is said the former took its name from a Stone house being near it at a period when very few Stone building were in existance in the Country. This Stone house was probably an old Kirk which is said stood almost 5 1/2 Chains north of it some other ho.
