St Bride's Church. (Site of)
There does not appear to be any account given of this Church with the exception of that given in the Statistical Account 1841 page 111. where it says that "about a Mile from this castle" (meaning Corswall Castle) "on a farm called Kirkbride, there was once a Church dedicated to St Bride".

In Chalmer's Caledonia, Vol [Volume] 3. p [page] 443 it is stated
that "Kirkcolm parish obtained its name, from the Church
which was dedicated to St Columba, and hence called
Kirk-colm,
