[West] end of a ravine Called Mavis Glen ½ mile N E [North East] [of] Bathgate. the building ar [are] very extensive, Consisting [of] Mills, Malt houses, Kilns mas [mash] houses, Coolers, Stores &c . It [is] worked both by Steam an [and] Water Wheel & produces abo [about] 2000 Gallons weekly it was first erected about 1795. There is a handsome dwell [dwelling] house two Storeys high with two well Kept gardens atta [attached] there are also some labourers dwellings. Mr. J. McNab is t [the] occupier. It is in the hands of the trustees of Marjoriban [Marjoribanks] |
