It is formed by two small ridges of hill & On the One N.[North] is a trig [trigonometrical] Station. There was formerly a pond in the bottom of this glen but has been drained Many Years ago by the tenant Mr. J Inglis. Here it is said Courts of Justice were held in former Ages from which probably the name Arose. |
