030.13 | Two cairns of stones: The smallest is situated about one chain N. of the largest, and about 30 chains N.E. of "Burravoe", also at the S. end of "Hill of Burravoe", in a hollow. These cairns are composed of loose stone of various size, and are about four feet in height: Nothing definite can be gathered relating to these obkects but the general supposition is that they are the remains of Picts Houses belonging to an ancient date. |

Ordnance Survey - Shetland county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Shetland, which is in the north of Scotland.
