Shetland -- Parish of Lunnasting

Chapel Knowe [Note] This object has evidently been a place of some consequence at some remote period, as on the top of the Knowe is to be seen the marks of a number of buildings all in a cluche; But nothing definitely can be learned only the general supposition that it is the site of an ancient monastery

Chapel Knowe [Note] as the information obtained about this monastery is very meagre, it has been written on plan in German text character. JTH
