It is situated near the south end of "Gallow Hill," on the Property of Mr. John Twatt of Voe, Walls. There is a considerable diversity of opinion as to what this object has been. There does not appear to be much doubt that it is an antiquity of some sort, but I have been unable to get any proper authority to express a distinct opinion as to its nature. |
