the north side of "Mid Yell voe." about one hundred yards to the East of the first mentioned Chapel there is a small inn known as Linkshouse Inn. there is also groceries sold on the premises. This district has the advantage of a Steamer, calling twice a week. viz, on her Northward journey, and on her return voyage. there is a small Pier attached to Linkshouse, where passengers and goods are landed from the Steamer. This District is owned by Mrs Budge on the North Sde of the Voe; Mr Sivwright, and the Rev. Mr Barclay on the South side. |
