011.15 | This name applies to a medium sized district, situated, about the centre of the Parish of Mid Yell and about eight miles South of Cullivoe Post Office. The greater part of the district is cultivated, and with a few exceptions, all the tenants houses are thatched, one storey high, and in medium repair. The greater part of it is situated on the South Side of Mid Yell Voe. in this part of the district and near the North End of it there is the "Post Office", a little South East of that there is a small cluster of houses known as Reafirth near the north End of this cluster there is the Site of an "Old Hall." a little East of this again there is the church Yard, and the site of an old "Chapel."
