"To the south of Coilsfield House, immediately west of the farm offices, is a circular mound enclosed by
a hedge, and planted with oak and other trees. In the centre & highest part of this mound, are two large stones
- masses of Basalt - which according to tradition, mark the site where the mortal remains of Old King Coil were
deposited. In May 1837, the two large stones were removed. The centre of the mound was found to be
occupied by boulder Stones, some of them of considerable size." etc etc
