Auchinharvie etc, a castle of
small importance or size.
In mentioning to you the other
day that its destruction had
been completed about 1760 or 1770
from that I have led you to suppose
that it was then demolished
I believe that it had been ruinous
long before, & all that was
then done was that Mr John Stevens-

as a quarry in building
