012 | All that now remains to identify the site of this Castle is a small portion of a wall at the side of the Stream, and a slight hollow, partly surrounded with a bank or mound, formed by the rubbish of the old wall, - the whole covered with plantation. The proprietor Mr. Glasgow informed me that it was demolished about the year 1765 and the greater part of the materials taken away for other purposes. See the attached letter. |
