019 | The foundation of this church was laid on 3rd. May 1844 and is said to contain 1200 Sitting. The grave yard in which this Church Stands surrounded by a wall, in this wall, on the east are two Tablets erected by the Inhabitants of this Parish to the memory of some of the Covenanters of this Parish who Suffered in the 17th. Century. There are in the grave yard also, two headstones one on the East and the other in West of the Church, erected to the memory of John Morton Broomhill and John Gebbie of Feoch, Martyrs |
