008 | A neat Farm house with offices and garden attached, in the vicinity of Dunlop village. It is the property of Mrs. Margaret Cunningham of Hapland etc. and is occupied by Mr. John Robertson. This Farm comprehends part of the lands of Hapland and Ryeburn and the house and steading are built principally of the stones which composed the old house of Hapland, hence Mr. Snodgrass's wish for the name to be retained, but it is not known in the district as "Hapland", and I can give no other authorities |

Ordnance Survey - Ayr county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Ayr, which is in the south west of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
