011 | An Antique mansion the residence of the Blair family for many ages, its date being 1203, owing to constant repairs an effort has been made to preserve its Ancient appearance. The walls are massive, with oaken doorways and narrow Staircases. The whole is in a perfect state of preservation. The date 1203XB with the family escutcheon is cut immediately over the doorway and underneath are 1617 & 1668. According to Capt. " The house of Blair is situated about 1/2 mile South east of
"Dalry. It occupies a rising bank, about a 1/4 of a mile from
"Garnock. It is of considerable size, and has been erected
