Runs from the South Beach towards the north, west of and parallel to Kenneth Street. A street extending from the south beach to the junction with Kenneth Street and Bay Head and forming junctions with Francis Street Point Street and the North Beach. The houses in it are generally, two story high, slated, and in good repair. It is supposed from traditionary records and remains recently discovered that a wall was built by Cromwell or his party along the present site of this street from south to the North Beach which enclosed the point and made a Garrison or Stronghold of it |
