There are about 45 tenants in it all of whom depend upon the produce of the land for their Support. There is very little fish caught here anytime except for a Short time during the Summer Season. The fish then taKen are Ling, Cod, Turbot and Coalfish. The Shore is so rough in the winter time that no boat can land in it but very seldom. Situated on the north west of the road from Stornoway to Ness about 17 miles from the former place between Amhuinn nan Cuig Peghinnean and Allt Mhiosgro |
