049 | [Situation] On the western side of the plan, from 30 to 90 chains W. [West] of Garbh Eilean. A group of high and low water rocKs, lying in a direction east and west. They extend for upwards of a mile. The tide flows exceedingly strong around them. A landing can be easily effected on any of them, at low water. Great numbers of sea-fowl breed in the cliffs in the summer season. The tops of a few of them, are covered with rough pasture. |
