002.06 | A considerable open street extending from Rue End Street in a northerly direction as far as Baker Street The north west side is partly occupied by a large saw mill and premises, and further on by the Glasgow Paisley and Greenock Railway Depot. From the entrance of this depot there is a line of Rails passing through the centre of the Street for the purpose of conveying goods. The S.E [South East] of this street is occupied by low buildings used as shops and dwelling houses 1 & 3 storeys high It is wholly paved as far as Carnock Street with Side walks and partially supplied with Gas. |
