Mr. Marshall. New Stat. Acct. [New Statistical Account 1834-1845]. Plan of Perth 1792. |
098 | This was one of the noted private residences of the olden times in the City. It is stated by Mr. Marshall that part of the house adjoined the Street, this part is Shewn or pointed out as still Standing, an old tenement much out of repair but it appears by old plans of the City that the main building Stood a few yards in from the street which is now recognised as part of the North Port but which appears to be formerly considered as part of the Curfew Row. "Lord John Murray his house was a little to the north of the old Glover Hall in Carpenter Street. The front portion of it still remains" New Stat Acct. [New Statistical Account] of Perthshire. |

Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Perth, which is in central Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
