094 | The site of what is traditionally said to be a Roman Burying ground. The present incumbent of the parish, the Rev. [Reverend] W. Robertson has pointed out this place, he remembers well when it was covered with a number of flat Stones, these have been removed and the place is now cultivated, leaving no trace to indicate where it existed. Some stone Coffins were found at the time. |
