117 | Mr. Donaldson, while removing a cairn at this place found 2 stone coffins placed side by side, they were composed of stone slabs and about 6 feet long, the earth surrounding them was very black and resembling ashes, while the natural Soil was a brownish colour, it had the appearance of having been subject to fire. Mr. Donaldson also found 2 stone coffins at this place, the appearance of the ground was the same as mentioned above, and the coffins were laid in the same position. |
