119 | A low water rock Situate in "Scapa Flow" 3/4 of a mile east of "Roan Head" having an excellent iron Beacon erected upon it. The Beacon is about 70 feet in height of a conical form, with steps for ascending to its summit. The rock is entirely covered at high water, and previous to the erection of the Beacon had frequently proved disastrous to shipping. |
