Parish of Stromness Orkney
Signed William Fraser C/A
Burial Ground (Site of) Burial Ground (Site of) Burial Ground (Site of) James Spence Esqr. [Esquire] of Pow Mr. Simon Muir farmer Breckness Mr. Robert Allan farmer Breckness Mr. Peter Irvine Tenant Room
About the Site of the Chapel described upon the other side of this list and indicated by Symbol upon trace is known to have existed a place of interment which is generally supposed to have been in connection with, and used about the same time as the Chapel.
The supposed existence of a Burial Ground may be confirmed by the fact that when the field was cultivated, and the remains of the Chapel removed, there were several indications of the existence of human remains brought to view
