The most northwesterly of the group, two in number, were nearly all removed a few years ago and used as top-dressing for the adjoining arable land, I cannot ascertain that there was anything of interest discovered in them, None of the others have been excavated, but they are all more or less defaced by the action of the winter floods & storms, In the centre of the most southerly a small Stone Cist is laid bare, by the crumbling away of the earth, |
