Transcriber's notes

The middle part of the page is obscured by the fold. Under "Description remarks" for "Braes", "Slop" should read "Slope" but another word is needed after it; after "North", only the "w" of "west" is visible.

After the first spelling of "Tipperdavie", the word "Well" has been scored out and the initials J.M. have acknowledged the error. The derivation of "Tipper" is inserted under the "Authorities for spelling" and " Situation" columns. The name of the source of the derivation has been underlined. The "n" of the word "Known" is obscured by the page fold.
