"A few years ago some of the supposed vestiges of the Roman Road were discovered on the farm of "Braco" where a number of Roman denarii were recently found, - The coins here mentioned amounted to several hundreds, principally of the reign of Nerva, Trajan, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius, and Faustina, and most of them were in good presentation," "Caledonia Romana"
