010.03 | This Burn rises on the west side of Cathkin House in Carmunnock and flowing past Rutherglen enters the River Clyde north west of Shawfield Printfield. From the point where "Mall's Muir Burn" joins it to where it enters the Clyde, it is called by the name given. It is also commonly called "Leimif's Burn" but that name is considered by the best authorities to be an improper one. It is however as well known as the name given. |

Ordnance Survey - Lanark county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Lanark, which is in the west of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
