019.10 | A considerable stream which rises near Thornsmuir and flows in a S.W. direction thro'[through] the hamlet of Yuildshields it then flows due West and after joining Moss-side Burn the united streams take the name of Jock's Burn from thence to the Clyde, the entire course of Yuildshields Burn is 1½ miles. |
