Object: Site of Cairn
Description: The site of a large Cairn on the farm of Glaisters, nothing now remains but the track which is quite a circle. Mr Cannon of Breckonside says that he seen this Cairn previous to its removal 50 years ago & that it was a very large one. out of the stones of which was built a fence one mile in length. Mr Wightman who also seen this Cairn gives the same information. A short distance from this object is yet to be seen another circle (which is probably the object mentione[d] in the statistical account as a Druidical Circle) which the above authorities say had been a Sheep pen or fold. Nothing now remains but a few small stones to mark its site.
