It is a common graystone of natural Shape and had a hole about 5 inches in Diameter cut through it, - this was within about 10 Inches of the top - about nine years ago the Stone across by the hole was broken off by some unknown accident There is a Tradition on the locality that parties getting married in the above Chapel proceed to this stone for the purpose of Joining hands through the hole in it - the stone is about 30 links South of the Chapel. - |
