Suie Moat--A Moat--This name applies to a Small enclosure Situated on the Summit of "Suie Hill" and farm of Culnaughtrie it is Surrounded with the track of two stone fences on the South and East Side and on the other sides there and from appearance have each been about 5 or six feet thick and within this enclosure and Close by the east Side is a Shepherds Cairn. Coarsely built of stones and about 4 feet high - It has the appearance of having formerly been a place of thought but of its origin or any authentic information either from records, or the local inhabitants I have not been able to learn any thing Satisfactory--Rerrick--James Affleck
