Fort or Camp--(Fort)--This object is situated upon the summit of Big Airds Hill and is looked upon by the inhabitants as having been a Fort or Camp, but as it has more the appearance of the former some conclude that it has been a Fort, there has evidently been a fosse round a portion of it, and the steepness of the hill defended the other part. This spot seems to have been well selected as it served for the double purposes of a good look out, and it was also difficult of Access--[Rerrick]--Quinten Mitchell
