Big Airds--a Hill--A tolerable sized hill on the farm of Airds the surface of which is arable & partly rocky pasture. on its summit is a Trigl. [Trigonometrical] Station called by the Trig. [Trigonometrical] Party "Airdshead" it is on the estate of Mrs Gordon of Balcary. there is an eminence on the summit having the appearance of a Camp but it is not known by any name by the people in the neighbourhood.--Rerwick [Rerrick]--David Ferguson
