A large and handsome Edifice of the Modern Style of Architecture with tower used as belfry, built in 1843 at a cost of about £1100 which was defrayed by in America. Its interior is well fitted up with gallaries and is sufficient to accommodate with sittings to about 900 hearers, the average number of attendence is about 800 and Communicants 650 The Minister is the Rev [Reverend] John McMillan whose stipends amounts to £200, £130 of which paid by the Free Church Sustentation fund & the remainder by the Congregation. - |
