over a declivity of Rocks forming a series of foamings and impetuous cateracts, From Tongueland Bridge where the River becomes navigable it flows smothly down its conflux with the sea, at low water, over a sandy bottom mixed with mud there are a great number of Fisheries in this Part of the River (Commonly called Yairs) Salmon Salmon Trout and hireling are catch in abundance in them, they are the Property of the Earl of Selkirk.
