It was built in 1821 by voluntary subscriptions from members of the Congregation at a cost of about 1000 pounds, it is sufficient to accommodate with Sittings for about 500 hearers, the average number of Communicants is about 90. The Minister is the Rev [Reverend] G Wood whose Salary amounts to about £120, 80 of which paid by the Congregation and the remainder by the Synod fund.- |
