[North West] corner of the ancient burial ground Cill Challuim Chille, and the tradition is that it was one of those places of refuge in olden times, when if a criminal could only place his hand upon it he was free from the law. But whatever its origin or use it does not appear to have been a head-stone, although within the precincts of the old burial ground. |
