from the rest 36 ft [feet] high, 46 long, & 34 broad on the top; it was
surrounded with a dry stone wall & is called Carn Leum from
its vicinity to the chasm already mentioned. The Country people
say it was a beacon for directing
vessels into the harbour of Gigulum Sound"
