072 | Stands on a rocky point on the west side of the island, close to the shore, and opposite Kingerloch. The walls are of ordinary thickness, and average from 10 to 20 feet in height. "On the property of D. Campbell of Baileveolan in Lismore stands Castle Coeffin, a very ancient building. It is built upon a point jutting out into Linne Shrlich or Linne Loch an arm of the Sea that separates Kingerloch from Lismore" New Statistical Account.
