| Cairn | Cairn | 020.12 | There are the remains of a large Cairn on the highest part of the ground in this wood. I have not seen any record of it in the documents relating to the Parish, but it is evidently of the same origin as those on the Hill of Garvock, from which it can be seen. It is now grown over with heather and weeds, but from the appearance of the base it Seems to have been a very large Cairn. [Signed] B. Render Corp. R.E. [Corporal Royal Engineers] | |

Ordnance Survey - Kincardine county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Kincardine, which is in the north east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
