Western Islands -- County of Inverness
Transcriber's notes
There are two Loch names very which are very faint in 'Description remarks' for "Vad" but I have determined that the first one is Loch Mhic Phail and the second is Loch Seaginish although, as also mentioned in the entry for "Siginish" on page 47 of this Volume, I have put "Seaginish [Signinish]" because the only instance of "Sheaginish" is on page 47 and has in fact been crossed out and replaced with "Siginish".

Ordnance Survey - Inverness county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Inverness, which is in the north of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
