It was formerly called the parish school & since the School Board has been elected the scholars from the Free Church School now attend it & owing to this the school has become too small so that another is about to be built when the present one will be done away with. The average attendance is 39 and the ordinary branches of the English language are taught together with Latin. It is situate adjacent to the parish Church, & is partly a dwelling house for the Schoolmaster. |
