32 - Trinity Well

"On the north Side of the hill, a little below where the hospital
Stood, there is a fountain of excellent water which was dedicated to the
Holy Trinity Still called "Trinity Well". This well thought it does not now
appear to have any medicinal qualities was formerly much celebrated
and much frequented by invalids." Stat. Acct. [Statistical Account] of Edinburgh. 1845.
