It is about 3 miles in length from east to west. and varying from 1 to 1 1/2 mile in breadth, and is bounded on the east by the parish of Whittingham, on the west and North by Haddington. and on the South by Garvald. This parish is in the Presbytery of Haddington and Synod of Lothian and Tweeddale Patron - Dalrymple of Hailes. |
