015 | [Situation] About 1 1/2 Mile E. by N. [East by North] from Yester. A small lake on the farm of DansKine. It is surrounded by wood and is situated a sort distance N. [North] west of DansKine farm house. This loch is now drained for the purpose of cleaning away the mud and deepening it and rendering it now ornamental. There are tram roads constructed for carrying away the mud which is used for manure It presents the appearance of a peat moss at present. |
