018 | On Glenogil Est. [Estate] Plan this name is applied between the Moss, West of Mount Sned, & the Trusty Burn, and it is extended as far west, along the face of the hill, as a line about direct north from the Trigl. [Trigonometrical] Pole on "Duthriss Hill" (Trace 10) The name however is pointed out by persons - quoted as being about the top of the Moss, & from the Shades being a corruption of Shed or Sheddings it has been applied to that part, although it does not appear to belong to the other Estate on the Lethnot side. It is not understood to apply on the Lethnot side as adopted on the Glenogil Est. [Estate] Plan, by the personal authorities quoted. |

Ordnance Survey - Angus county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Angus, which is in the east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
