| Site of CHAPEL [Boath] | Site of Chapel | Revd. Mr. Cæser, Panbride Old Charters of Church Lands (in Mr. Cæsers' possession) David Miller Esq: Writer, Arbroath. |
051 | [Situation] At the East side of Boath. The site of this Chapel was pointed out to me by the farmer, and is Situated close to the Boath farm house. There is no trace of the foundations visible, but many of the hewn stones of the ancient erection, such as window lintels &c., are built into some of the present outhouses: one gable of the latter seems to be wholly constructed of the ancient materials. What was left of the old building was removed about 40 years ago. |

Ordnance Survey - Angus county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Angus, which is in the east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
