Mr. Taylor - Forester Camperdown Mr. Dickson Schoolmaster A. Yule - Liff |
050 | [Situation] On the east side of King's Cross. This human skeleton was found here in the course of some workmen being digging near the King's Cross about 18 years ago. The people in the locality or near it say that it was that [of] a travelling tinker who died in the neighbourhood many years ago and whose place of internment then was known. The skeleton was quite entire and in a state of good preservation. There is a different idea suggested, as to whose remains this skeleton was, in the New Stat. Acct. Ordnance Survey - Angus county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Angus, which is in the east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
